Our love is like
lightning on Venus
–35 miles high
This relationship is
floating like ions
in Titan’s atmosphere
The discovery of us
began as teenage galaxies
light years away
It’s that dark energy
made us realize the force
with which we oppose gravity
So, like Voyager 2,
I believe we will cross
the termination shock threshold
Because we are
the fastest moving stars
heart astronomers have ever seen
These spiraling arms are
an eternal valentine
for all loving scientists
