By Amantul Iffat Farisha
The grassy green mosses
Around the little martyr’s grave
The lake water dances
In tiny shiny waves.
In mid summer’s sulky air
The little soldier played
Then bathed in the lake water
With much merriment.
There came a war
In the serene city of Naples
The spirit of the little man
Drove him to the wargate.
The solemn breeze of spring
Soothes the Adam’ ale
Beside, lies the
cold body of our mate.
