By Ode Roman
Like dew, pure, 'n bright,
At dawn, rising
gently from dark night
seems, now, my living
up the grassy crest
enjoying its rest.
But, at first sunshine
the dew softly melts
on petals; I design
iridescent belts
up the grassy crest
around my quiet rest.
Same is my dream of Love
in the sunset's light
sadly melts above,
voiding vital might;
shining in the last
memories of the past
