By Md. Rakib Hossain
Falling leaves and flown sands,
I’m here to catch with unopened hands.
You only asked for a hairclip,
But I bought a dead emerald leaf.
Your love’s stare is so intense,
As far I can recall my name in sense.
Why don’t you look at my eye’
Until I die.
Smile heals like a treatment,
Yet temporaries are permanent.
You became cold and died,
I remember the sweetest sight.
Dark night in snow white,
You never walk in sunlight.
I become blind and grateful,
Walking alone is so peaceful.
Yet your love’s wings wrap with care,
As if whispering: “hey, hurry here.”
But the leaf disappeared, in soil and air,
We are, but alone with dear and near.
