Fresh lilacs blooming
Lily-of-the-valley too
Springtime scent so sweet.
Springtime misting rain
Tender garden shoots reaching
Thirstily drinking.
Deep woods forest path
Leafy green canopy above
Sleepy shade below.
Late day setting sun
Last light filters through the trees
Blanket of soft warmth.
