Half a cup of tea
Half a cup of tea She never did finish that cup of tea, did she know it’d be her last sip? No one knew it was the last time she would smile or do her cheeky wink. Did she ever chase up the photos or sort the flowers for the arrangement? Half a cup of tea We didn’t know that it was the last chit chat we would have, popping by for a cuppa and biscuit. Or that when she said good bye it actually was goodbye. Half a cup of tea She never did finish that cup of tea.
The room
I walk into the room The dark and gloomy room And what I see I will never forget I saw a monster, it was great and wide So I stepped, back outside I went back in to investigate But when I tried to run, it was too late I was trapped inside with nowhere to run And then towards me the monster had come It’s head came off Guess what I saw…. My big brother, laughing on the floor
