A Homeless Man

There is a homeless man just wandering the streets…
You think this is no one that you care to meet…
He walks up and down the streets all day…
And you wonder where at night does he stay…

He may live in a his car or in a camp in the woods…
He would have a real home I’m sure if he could…
There is no money in his pocket so he can’t go far…
Not unless he jumps on the next freight car…

When you see him begging and his appearance is sad to look at…
Be kind to him and drop some change into his hat…
Do help this man less fortunate then you…
Help him survive with whatever you can do…

When you see him setting there with his head hung low…
He’s not there just to putting on a show…
His dignity has been taken from him somewhere back in time…
Be kind to this man, being homeless is not a crime…

I Remember You

I woke up last night to the sound of thunder…
Rain falling down ,It made me wonder…
Whatever happened to you…
Where are you now, what do you do…

I remember you from a long time ago…
You would follow me around, put on a show…
Always trying to get my attention, catch my eye…
Do everything you could, nothing you wouldn’t try…

Your eyes would talk to me without making a sound…
You always seemed to find me when there was nobody around…
Your eyes would talk to me, and you had that smile…
You always came to me with that smooth sexy style…

We spent some nights together, you and me alone…
Before it got to late I would take you home…
I remember you like it was yesterday…
I remember you and the games you would play…

You never wanted love, you just wanted some fun…
There were nights you had my heart on the run…
That was a long time ago, but I still remember you today…
Where are you now, they tell me you moved away…

I still think of you , not just on a rainy night…
I should have held on to you, should have held on tight…
I’ll remember you from a long time ago…
You are in my dreams, I’ll never let them go…

I woke up to the sound of thunder…
Rain falling down, it made me wonder…
What was it that happened to you…
In my dreams I’ll always remember you…

Inside A Bottle

I sit here every day trying to drink away my pain…
Nothing can help me, It will always be the same…
Chasing memories that can never be found…
Being haunted by the same old sounds…

I’ll miss your laughter and your smile…
Loving you made my life all worthwhile…
And with you gone and gone to stay…
I will drink away my misery every day…

Whether there is clear skies or rain…
It will always be there, this hurting pain…
Your walk, your talk, I will never forget…
Not being able to hold you once more, I will regret…

I can drink myself into a unholy mess…
About my life I could care less…
Without you here to hold me every night…
No more feelings of you holding me tight…

I sit here every day drinking away my pain…
Nothing can help me, It will always be the same…
Chasing memories that can never be found…
Being haunted by the same old sounds…

I wish you were still here…
Not just the visions of you that appear…
Chasing memories that can never be found…
Being haunted by the same old sounds…

You being gone has broken my heart…
I need to move on with my life, make a new start…
But till my heart can come around…
Inside a bottle is where I can be found…
