Motivational Motivations

Wanting the intention
Of achieving greatness.
Understanding the
Desire for more.
No one is exactly sure
What the future has in store,
But motivational thinking,
Along with inductive
And deductive reasoning,
Can openly display
Opportunities, and also
Open doors
To a new reality
In which determination
Determines how
A new way of life has begun

Recently Recent

The immediate past
Had happened
Not too long ago.
Recent events
Could potentially result
In lifelong laments.
Nevertheless,
Coping with adversity
Demonstrates maturity,
And hoping
That a future event
Would have a positive impact
Can still help form
Occurrences
That would supposedly result
In people experiencing deference

Universe City

A city of stars
Close to
The City of Angels
Shining brightly nightly
At academic institutions.
A place where learners
Could know more
Than just information.
Landing among the stars
Could happen
While soaring
Beyond the mysterious,
And while education
Sometimes involves
Something serious,
Dance around the city,
And be the light
Within the Universe City
To become more
Than an ordinary human being.

Lessons Taught

Students supposedly learn
As educators educate them.
Nevertheless,
Lessons that
Teachers teach
Offer only a fraction
Of what
The University of Life
Has to offer,
Especially since
Classrooms
Usually only have one door
When there is actually
An entire world to explore,
But only for the ones
Willing to know more

Tireless

A pursuit
To live
The best possible life.
A tireless car
Cannot move,
Yet when people do
Choose to move on
With acquired knowledge,
Then civil citizens
Can form an allegiance
Through a pledge
Without standing
On a ledge

Signify to Dignify

Significations
Offer more
Than just significance.
Attempt to attempt
Living with authenticity
While accepting
The reality of reality.
Achieve great expectations
While expecting
More from oneself
So that dignity
Would reveal the
Honorable version
Of the true self

Cherish Instead of Perish

Some parts of life
That people would cherish
Sometimes do fade.
Nevertheless, the willingness
To love
Offers a sigh of relief,
And rather than succumb to grief,
Honor and respect
Instead of lament,
And ensure that
The perishable
Do have chances
To keep on surviving
To combat
The negativity
Of reality

Lofty

In the Heights
That impose
A sense of fright.
Nevertheless,
Never fear the night,
For the fact that
The sun will rise
Once more,
And choose resilience
That comes with brilliance
Through learning
All life long,
And even when things go wrong,
Solve problems
To become solutions
While experiencing
Absolution

Try, Not Pry

Inquiries
Into personal matters
Could make people
Feel mad as a hatter,
And even though
Life is not like
Alice in Wonderland,
People can still join
Hand-in-hand,
And at least try
To do anything they could,
As well as should,
Rather than would,
For the future remains
Unknown
Unless a hopeful outcome
Originates from
Trying to overcome
Rather than succumb
