Fearless of Death

I fear not Death.
Death is the ultimate truth.
Death is waiting. 
For the next life
Where I will be judged.
By the Almighty.
Or there is no afterlife.
But Death is the end.
The curtains of the play called life
Finally comes to close.
Death is where are no Yesterday and tomorrow.
Why should one fear Death?
It is to forgive life and forget life.
No thinking, no routine, no struggle.
No immoral ways to survive.
In life, we forget the Almighty.
We commit seven deadly sins.
To survive.
Death is to be finally at peace.
To sleep on the earth,
To listen to the silence,
Far away from the maddening crowd.
To be in peace.
Death, I fear you not.
You are immune to me.
You don't threaten me.
Because I am fearless.
I am fearless of 
Life's one and ultimate truth.
Death you are to me
NO MORE PAIN.

Tabassum Tahmina Shagufta Hussein is an aesthete and humanitarian and Masters of Arts holder in British & American Literature from Dhaka, Bangladesh.
