“Something at the Door”
There was a lady getting ready for bed
A-hoo a-hoo a-hoo
She went and bumped her head
A-hoo a-hoo a-hoo
She heard a knock upon the door
A-hoo a-hoo a-hoo
Then she went across the floor
A-hoo a-hoo a-hoo
Then she went to open the door
A-hoo a-hoo a-hoo
But before she could do any more
A-hoo a-hoo a-hoo
She felt someone touch her core
A-hoo a-hoo a-hoo
Then she realized it was the ghost who lived next door
“Happy Little Pumpkin”
Happy little pumpkin growing in the field, growing in the field, growing in the field
Happy little pumpkin growing in the field looking forward to Halloween
Happy little pumpkin growing in the field, growing in the field sees the leaves turn red and brown, red and brown
Happy little pumpkin in the field waiting to be picked gets real happy when it sees a family
Go home together and they give the happy little pumpkin a smiley face, a smiley face, a smiley face
Happy little Pumpkin is now ready to greet all the happy trick-or-treaters this Halloween
Happy little pumpkin is now big and bright, big and bright, big and bright
Happily big pumpkin big and bright, big and bright
Ready to tell you a happy Halloween night
“Skeleton Dance”
The skeleton does a spooky dance
He realizes that he has no pants
Thus, he goes to get his pants
And do more of his spooky dance
He gets close ready to do his show
He stands on his toes
His partner has on bows
They know how it goes.
“Monster in the Dark”
So the monster laying in the dark
He is waiting to do his part
To bring a fright
For someone’s delight
For soon will be the eve
Where the ghosts scream
Are you ready for this night
I would but I might
Have to work today
That’s ok
The monster is a patient soul
With no where else to go
But wait
It’s not that late
Into the night we go
Where will we end up no one knows
I especially loved “Skeleton Dance”! I would love to hear it sung to music! Frank Kowal
