Timely

Throughout the course of time
Timeless masterpieces continue to endure
Because of creative creations
That suggest that hearts can be pure
If artists attempt artistry
Because even though everything has faults
It is the treasure found deep within the soul
That can connect the heart and mind
To establish a sense of being whole
While acknowledging the ones who dream
No matter how tough life may seem
Because independent thoughts
Can help make the impossible
Possible
And have great work stand the ultimate test
Of not necessarily being a test
But instead create wonderment
By merging sense with sensibility
To make the unreal reality

Stamp Out

Postal mail
Usually includes postage stamps
But times have changed
And electronics
Have sped up communication
Despite modern technology
There is still tension
Within modernity
Especially for the impatient
Struggling with
Delaying Gratification
Learn to wait
To stamp out hate

Venture into Adventure

Traveling through
While learning something new
For feet can take people
Anywhere they decide
If they choose to
Embark on the ride
And make the journey
Beyond the horizon
And towards
Self-realization

Subject

Titular topic
Matters that matter
Removing extraneous details
And driving right into the heart
For even if a heart is dark
There could still be
A potential spark
To rejuvenate the heart and soul
And make someone truly whole
For the subject of the story
Is the first-person narrator
Known as “I”
