The past and present connect by
The significance of recording history through writing.
Manuscripts can save the past from obscurity.
Because of the subjective nature of memory,
recounting historical events could result in writing that contain fictional elements.
Written work that authors compose could reflect
a distorted perception of themselves
as they express their creativity through writing.
People in the present sometimes fail to acknowledge
the past itself.
That is because
a scribbled piece of writing could potentially hold
important clues about historical periods
even as time passes incessantly.
Remember the importance of preserving written work
because doing that
can help prevent the past from fading into oblivion.
