By Renato Econa
I would run away with you
we could go
somewhere with verdant hills
and overgrown castles
somewhere
with curving, towering skyscrapers
and mosaics on subway tiles
we could go
to a little cove
feel the sea spray
and watch the water rise and fall
like the Earth is breathing
as long as I’m by your side
we can go anywhere
Such a sweet, tender poem.
