By Bradford Middleton

I wake with a startle as three
Sharks come to circle me in my
Own pool of fear as a dream
Comes to horrify me awake.
The sharks are as big as any
Spielberg could have imagined
& I know even the hint of red
Would mean my imminent
Demise but as I look up I
See a girl climbing from the
Pool when suddenly I wake up.
