By Jim Bates
Sumac leaves changing
Shades of orange and burgundy
Colors of pure joy.
Gunmetal grey sky
Blazing red maples stand proud
Fall’s splendorous show.
Autumn wind blowing
Golden leaves racing madly
Trees becoming bare.
Along the lakeshore
Trees fiery orange and red
Autumnal delight.
Man with camera
Blue aster and honeybee
Captured for all time.
