Your Lady from Afar

I waved from afar
Like every other day
And you tipped a hat to me
As to all other strangers

But I never knew
I'd wake up to find you
Bidding the castle goodbye 
Saying adventure awaited outside

You turned a new chapter
As you set sail on the sea
While I'll forever be
That open book you'll never read

But I'll wave quietly
Behind you as you depart
I'll remain sincerely
Your lady from afar
