By Jim Bates

Purple Coneflower
Monarch butterfly alights
Double delightful.

After somber rain
Pretty morning glories bloom
Unexpected gift.

Belief they will grow
Carrot seeds planted with care
Faith in Nature's hands.

Woodland stream flowing
Whispering sweet trickling songs
Nature's lullaby.
