By Liz Sorora
As the wind blows the leaves away
I left with it go a silent pray
A day to come that you will be missing
And your silent ghost won't be reminiscing
Alone to be as out and within
Your haunting voice no longer echoing
Yet if that happens, what would I be
Without your soul resting in me
Empty with you and empty without you
What should I do to no longer have you
Hating you when you are beside me
but missing you when no longer around me
A useless try is it all?
Even if without you I am not whole
You may be just what I need
With you, I hurt but never bleed
A factor that defines who I am
A piece of jewelry attached to my shirt’s hem
Lonely because I have you and alone if I ever let you go.
Loneliness your name, my best friend all along.
