By N.T. Chambers
I am not the universe as you are not the stars and we are not nearly the tomorrow we once might have been. Just us, now - different and unsure of the neighbors we’d be in a year or the couple people would see in twenty - two people trying to be one but living as one and a half - somehow escaping completeness but still chasing its dream as always. Never quite seeing the sunrise with each other - instead choosing to talk about it with others - too bashful, perhaps, to show what really matters to one another - not trusting it to be enough.
N.T. Chambers writes about the emotions and experiences intrinsic to human nature. Numerous works have been published in the following magazines: Grassroots, The Banyan Review, Inlandia, The Orchard Poetry Journal, The Decadent Review, New Note Poetry, Quibble Magazine, Red Coyote, Share Literary Journal, Bluebird Word & Bookends Review and Black Coffee Review.
