By S.F. Wright

Wednesday evening
Almost over;
Then Thursday,
And
Friday.
The weekend’s
Booze
Seems like
A faraway
Oasis;
Yet it will
Come, go,
Disappoint.
Then
Tired Sunday,
Monday;
And the oasis
Appears
Again.
